Yesterday I was back to K-Mart for the second time this week. Kmart on State Street is a major source of frustration for me and a source for some great stories too. It was bitter cold and the parking lot was still a frozen mess. I noticed this lady took a cart from the parking lot, and pushed it up to the store, she had a little bounce in her step, I thought to myself that was nice. Then I think we both noticed this little puppy tied to the fence right outside the door. Mind you it was like 20
degrees and the poor thing was shivering, and she bent down and said poor little puppy. Then she stopped in the first set of door where there was a movie display, and pickup up an empty movie case from the floor that obviously so scum stole. Then returned the cart to the cart
corral. I thought she pushed that all that way,
stopped to say hi to the puppy and picked up a movie and put the cart away. She turned and of course I smiled because I thought what a nice person. And it was Judy that I used to work with at the Museum. And
honestly she is that nice of a person everyday! It was nice to see her
especially on a day that I was struggle to keep the tears from flowing. It put things back into check for me!
